One of our affiliate groups, #Skies-and-Seasons, is hosting their first ever contest! The theme is "Signs of Spring", and the details can be found below. Please help them out - it would be incredible if you could participate or just spread the word. Thanks again, and without further ado, a copied and pasted blog post:

We're looking for your very best photos that show spring is on the way - a nice broad theme for our first contest (: We want to see how well you can capture anything typically associated with the season of new life, for example blossoms, insects, budding leaves or flowers, or baby birds or animals :3

Start date: Today, 5th March.
End date: Currently 16th April, but it may be changed. We'll see how it goes (:

Rules:

No more than three entries per member.
Your entries can be old or new. If a photo you want to submit to the contest is already in the group gallery, you can remove it yourself and resubmit to the contest folder, or note us with a link to the image you'd like to be moved to the contest folder.
Your photo should conform to the general rules of the group, which can be found on our home page.
It would be appreciated if you mentioned in the artist's comments that your photo has been entered in this contest :3
Winners will be chosen by you, the members, through a voting process. If you enter the contest, you must vote at the end of it, otherwise your own entries will be voided. More details on the voting will be posted nearer the time (:

Hello everyone!

We have some updates for you. The Valentines and Anti-Valentines Folders are now closed. But, have no fear, love is still in the air! Or killing off ... We will be creating a feature of those works submitted to these galleries along side our regular feature. These both features will be forthcoming in the next few days. Remember to give the regular galleries some love!

Now, in order to celebrate March, we want to create a Meaning of March Feature! The Gallery for submissions to be considered will be open now through midnight on the 22nd. The following Monday we will have selected the best and shared them with you. Please submit things you feel make March unique; tell us your story through images and words.

As always, it is awesome to see all of your hard work in those beautiful photos and thought provoking literature! With your help this month will be as awesome as last!
